ADS Acquires Severn Trent Pipeline Services

Nova Analytics Corporation Acquires STM GmbH

Woburn, MA, June 23, 2006 - Nova Analytics Corporation and the Kurt Schwabe foundation are pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement on the sale of Sensortechnik Meinsberg GmbH; a high-quality manufacturer of electrochemical sensors and Analytical Instruments located in Meinsberg/Sachsen, Germany. The transaction will be effective on July 3rd. Sensortechnik Meinsberg GmbH was founded in 1990 by the Kurt Schwabe foundation as sole shareholder in a modernizing restructuring of the “Kurt Schwabe” Research Institute in Meinsberg /Saxony.

Sensortechnik Meinsberg GmbH brings high-quality sensor and instrumentation technology for the potable water industry to the Nova portfolio.

Nova Analytics Corporation Acquires Corning Electrochemistry

Acton, Massachusetts, March 5, 2003 - Corning Life Sciences has announced the sale of its electrochemistry product line to Nova Analytics, a company based in Woburn, MA. This includes pH, temperature, conductivity, DO and specific ion meters, as well as the associated electrodes, buffers and solutions.

All other Corning Life Sciences' businesses including glass, equipment (hotplates and stirrers) and plastic products will continued to be owned, managed and operated by Corning without any change.
