Jim Barbookles, Chairman and CEO. Before joining Nova, Mr. Barbookles was a consultant for several fortune 500 corporations and previously served as President and CEO of a major US instrumentation manufacturer serving the water analysis market. His past responsibilities includes positions in executive management, manufacturing and operations with United Technologies, American Optical, Cambridge Instruments and Thermo Electron. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Buffalo State University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
John F. Kennedy President and CFO. Before joining Nova, Mr. Kennedy was the CFO and Sr. Vice President of Operations at RSA Security Inc, a NASDAQ security software company. He also served as the CFO and Vice President of Finance of déCalog NV, an international investment management software company and as CFO of Natural MicroSystems Corporation, a NASDAQ telecommunications hardware and software company. He is a certified public accountant having worked with the Boston office of KPMG. Mr. Kennedy holds a BS in Mathematics from Lowell Technological Institute (now UMass Lowell) and an MS in Accounting from University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
Thomas Paquette, Executive Vice President. Mr. Paquette served as Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Nova Analytics from April 2003 through April 2006. Prior to joining Nova, Mr. Paquette was Vice President of Marketing for a major US instrumentation manufacturer, serving the water quality markets. He has served in various senior management positions in Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Design for Manufacturability. Mr. Paquette holds a BA in Industrial Design form Massachusetts College of Art and an MBA from Endicott College.
Nick Toussi, Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Nova, Mr. Toussi served as President of a process instrumentation company serving the Industrial Market. He has over 20 years of experience in Engineering, Operations, Information Technology and General Management in both Laboratory and Process Instrumentation & Control. Mr. Toussi holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Technology and Computer Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Bob Saturley, Vice President of Finance. Before joining Nova, Mr. Saturley spent two years as Controller of Empirix Corporation, a software provider to the e-commerce and telecommunications industries. His prior experience includes 20 plus years at Waters and Millipore Corporations, serving in various divisional finance and general management positions. Mr. Saturley received a BS in Business from University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Janet Barbookles, General Counsel. Prior to joining Nova, Ms. Barbookles served as a judicial extern in the San Francisco Superior Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Ms. Barbookles received a BS from Northeastern University, JD from Golden Gate University School of Law and an L.L.M in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
